A metaphysical home for nomads: inner self excerpted from the notebooks of Jack Haas
HOME Arriving into a great camp of nomads, coming and going, from everywhere to everywhere, in etheric streams from and into infinite oceans, we pour ourselves through others, becoming others, becoming ourselves. Our tents laying down in a field for days or lives, the neverending comings and goings and the everchanging patterns of tents risen and taken down in as if a dynamic organism in constant transformation so that from the periphery the path home is always different. And so returning home is never by the same path as the one taken outward. And so you learn to forget all about the way home, for the way home is never the same from one moment to the next. And so you learn to forget about the way, for there is no way, because there are infinite ways. So you forget all about ways and remember only the intimate space you call home, which is your most inner I, a fluid but unchanging eternity in a fluid but everchanging ephemerality, and you are both. You are always home because you are all ways home, because you remembered I, your home.
