The alchemical transfiguration of flesh into Christ

excerpted from the notebooks of Jack Haas

“If the flesh came into being because of spirit, it is a wonder. But if spirit came into being because of the body, it is a wonder of wonders. Indeed, I am amazed at how this great wealth has made its home in this poverty.” (from the Gospel of Thomas)

Hence the alchemical transfiguration turns the muck of matter and sorrow into the glow and peace of the light.

I am an alchemist, turning everything into Christ.

I make it Christ, for I am also Mary. I have made the Christ who I am. The Christ is born of the Goddess I am.

I am of the Kingdom of Christ, of the transcendence of Buddha, and of the divine flesh. And these are one, interwoven as planes creating a dynamic, multidimensional, organic realm. Life. A profound amalgamation. These are aspects of me of which I am certain.

In order to give everything to Christ, which is to turn everything into Christ, which is alchemy at its finest, one must give both the outer and inner realms- both other and self, you and I- away. All of it must be given to Christ, so as to become Christ. This is the alchemical, apocalyptic, ascension of the all into the Kingdom. All is Christ. Christ is all. Beyond division, duality, and all boundaries. All is one, which is Christ, which is love. The Kingdom has come. Amen.

To shed love onto the world is an intimacy as essential as the indifference of detachment.

Through my own choice I become devoted to the Kingdom.

To be the emptiness which allows (hallows) the power of Sophia to take dominion. I AM that space, that power.

Everything comes from God, even our very selves, who are also the God who gives. Giver and gift are one. Gratitude is communion.

To live vulnerably is to dissolve boundaries as a heroic virgin submitting with love to an army of invaders who do not know they are her brothers. But they will.

Water is the symbol and manifestation of the union of spirit and matter. It is the living substance.

Hence: the secret life of water- it is changeable.
